The ladies at Oak Flats Bowling Club have demonstrated the true meaning of community spirit with their incredibly successful Charity Day fundraiser for The Shepherd Centre. The event combined competitive bowling with heartfelt community support, creating an atmosphere of celebration and giving that resonated throughout the day.

The Shepherd Centre, which provides early intervention services for children with hearing loss, was the worthy beneficiary of this fundraising initiative. The day showcased exceptional talent and sportsmanship across multiple competitions. Wendy, Christine, Annette and Vicki were celebrated as the 2025/26 Regional Senior Fours Runners Up, demonstrating the high calibre of bowling at Oak Flats. Their achievement reflects the dedication and skill that defines our ladies’ bowling programme.

In the Club Triples competition, Vicki, Joan and Christine claimed the winners’ title, whilst Ellen, Marilyn and Christine secured runners up honours. These results highlight the depth of talent within our ladies’ bowling community and the friendly yet competitive spirit that makes events at Oak Flats Bowling Club so special.
