Sleep Out & Movie Night Fundraiser at Oak Flats Bowling Club

Twelve years ago, a heartwarming reunion between a man named John and his loyal rescue dog, Carrie, sparked a friendship that changed lives. Oak Flats Bowling Club CEO, Debbie Organ, played a pivotal role in reuniting them, inspiring this year’s 4th Annual Vinnies Fundraiser held in their honour. This event carries forward a story of compassion and action.

Join us for a Night Under the Stars

This Saturday, 28 June, Oak Flats Bowling Club invites you to a Sleep Out & Movie Night to support those without a home. Enjoy movies on the Top Green, starting with Shrek at 6:30pm followed by Top Gun: Maverick at 8:30pm. Remember to bring your own chairs and blankets, or hire bean bags for extra comfort.

Tickets and Raffle Details

Tickets are priced at Kids $5, Adults $10, and Family $25 (2 adults + 2 kids). Sleep Out Tickets are available for $20, which includes a box for the night. Participate in the $2,000 Luxury Escape Raffle for $5 per ticket, with the draw taking place during the event.

Supporting a Good Cause

All funds raised will go towards supporting the Vinnies Wollongong Food Truck initiative, providing hot meals, warm blankets, and hope to those facing tough times this winter.
